This project took Instile Interiors into a showcase setting. The concept for the showroom/studio was to provide a space where interior design collaborations could take place as well as having a local go to for people to source interior design products such as homewares, rugs, bedding, and any interior furnishings. The Instile Interiors showroom provides a local place where clients can visualise a space and can touch and feel products in a studio setting. Inspiration for the design was taken from the local area of Ivanhoe which is home to many period houses. The design of the arches and the textured walls in the studio represent and pays homage to the period homes in the local area. The modern elements showcase how you can take a traditional home and bring it into the contemporary future.
